Stage 1. Discovery & Market Positioning

The project began with an in-depth review of REAL Company’s operations, investor audience, and competitive landscape. This process included stakeholder interviews, analysis of existing investor touchpoints, and a study of peer investment platforms.

The objective was to clearly define REAL Company’s market position and uncover its strongest differentiators: decades of operational expertise, a proven record of acquiring undervalued San Francisco properties, and a disciplined acquisition strategy that thrives in rent-controlled markets.

These insights shaped not only the creative direction for the website, but also how REAL Company’s broader investor journey would be designed and communicated.

Stage 2. Design Strategy

From the start, the aim was to create an experience where investors don’t just learn about REAL Company they leave the site feeling confident, informed, and motivated to invest.

We mapped out the ideal investor journey across three priorities:

  • Clarity — Breaking down complex investment concepts into digestible, visually supported sections.

  • Proof — Presenting measurable results, track record highlights, and case studies to establish immediate trust.

  • Action — Leading users toward meaningful next steps, whether that’s reviewing the market thesis, exploring property performance, or booking a call.

To achieve this, we looked beyond the website alone. The inquiry form, supporting pitch decks, and all follow-up materials were considered part of the same ecosystem each reinforcing REAL Company’s credibility, transparency, and value proposition for both seasoned investors and those new to the market.

Stage 3. Design Development

  • Structural Wireframes: Defined layouts for key pages, ensuring essential content was surfaced without overwhelming visitors.

  • Visual Prototypes: Crafted a clean, confident visual style with strong typography, an authoritative color palette, and imagery that captures San Francisco’s architectural and market character.

  • Interactive Flows: Built prototypes to simulate the full investor experience, from discovering the strategy to initiating direct contact with the team.

Stage 4. User Testing & Iteration

We tested the designs with current investors and prospective leads, gathering insights on usability and engagement. Feedback revealed a strong preference for concise summaries paired with tangible data, quick access to team information, and clear navigation paths. Based on this, we refined layouts, adjusted hierarchy, and optimized mobile usability to ensure trust-building elements were always prominent.

Stage 5. Final Design & Responsive Implementation

The result is a responsive, conversion-focused platform that blends narrative with hard metrics. Investors can seamlessly move from understanding the market opportunity to initiating discussions with the REAL Company team. The cohesive integration of the website, inquiry form, and pitch materials ensures every touchpoint works toward the same goal building trust and driving informed investment decisions.

Results Post Launch

Post-launch data shows increased time on site, higher engagement with market insights, and a measurable rise in qualified investor inquiries. The redesign has positioned REAL Company as an experienced operator and transparent partner a brand whose digital presence reflects the discipline, expertise, and confidence that define its approach.
